 DISA Cybersecurity Panel @Ohlone

A virtual cybersecurity topic webinar with many distinguished members from our US Department Information Systems Agency (US DISA). This will be a virtual brown bag lunch panel with number of distinguished members from DISA.  They will share with us, What is the role for US DISA, career in cybersecurity and getting a scholarship and maybe internship at US DISA.

We have over 45 students participated at the Netflix cyber security tour event on 11/16/18.  There were 6 speakers from Netflix and industry experts sharing their experience cyber security topics and related careers to our students.

Dot-Slash Computer Science has been invited to tour Netflix on 11/16/2018 at 10:30 AM! Dot-Slash Computer Science will not guarantee rides if you are unable to drive.  San Francisco Bay Area Cybersecurity Conference

Data Connectors will be hosting the San Francisco Bay Area Cybersecurity Conference on Thursday, September 13th. The event will start at 8:15 AM with a check-in and opening introductions before presentation sessions begin at 8:45.

September 7th, 2018

The Dot-Slash computer science club at Ohlone will be having its first meeting this Friday, September 7th 4:30-6PM, at the Newark Campus in room 2306. The meeting will have food, refreshments, a presentation on CNET, and a raffle with a chance to win an Amazon Echo and other prizes.  Professor Ron Sha will also discuss Cybersecurity, IT careers and how CNET courses can help the students.
